VITAL STATS: 

 

Married or single? Married 7 years to my knight in shining armor, Jim.  We have two beautiful daughters, Emma, 4, and Lisa 1

 

Where in Marin do you live? Novato

 

Education:  Bachelors in Music Therapy and Music Education from Wartburg College (don’t ya love that name?  It is named after a castle in Germany where Martin Luther hid out and wrote at least part of his 99 thesis.  And I’ve been there—beautiful! ) in Waverly Iowa.

 

Do you have a “life verse?”  My favorite verse right now is “Be strong and courageous.” Joshua 1:6.  I don’t think I have a life verse, but God seems to give me a different one for each season.

 

Fun Facts…..

 

Favorite Movie:  Hmmm, I’m not the type of person who sees movies more than once usually.  I guess I’d say “Ever After”.  I can’t resist that fairy tale ending!

           

Favorite Worship artist and or song:  As far as favorite worship artist, I think my favorite changes depending on the season in my life.  Right now, I’m particularly drawn to Paul Baloche and Lincoln Brewster.

           

C’mon..Plain or Peanut?  Peanut, either light or dark, I like both

 

Favorite thing to do on a date night?  What’s that?  Just kidding!  When Jim and I are able to arrange a date night/afternoon/whenever!, my favorite the Moss Beach Distillery.  You can cuddle up with a blanket by the beach and crashing waves, then eat a nice dinner, and go back to the beach again!

 

Favorite place in Marin? The view from the top of Mt Tam

 

Favorite food/meal?  Butternut Squash ravioli from Pasta Pomodoro

 

Favorite Holiday?  Christmas because I usually get to see my family and extended family, eat good food, and just relax.

 

If you could meet any contemporary who would it be? I’d like to meet Darlene Zschech (sp?), a worship leader and songwriter at Hillsongs Church in Australia.  I’d like to hear from her about how she balances family, ministry, work.  Plus I’d love to get a vocal lesson from her too!

 

What do you like to do for fun? Read, scrapbook, hike, sleep J

 

Who’s influenced you the most? (Besides Jesus) My husband would probably be surprised to hear this, but I think he has influenced me a lot!  He is so much different than I, that being around him draws different characteristics out of me.  He has helped me to see my strengths and weaknesses in a new way.  Through him, I have learned more and more how much Jesus loves me.

 

What’s going on in your life that you are excited about?  I am starting a new at-home business that is causing me to have to step out of my comfort zone.  It is both exciting and scary at the same time!

 

Favorite thing about serving Christ?  I love the way He can take your little offering of service and make it something huge.
